My labor/I-140 documents show my salary to be 85K, I am yet to receive my I-140 approval from Nebraska Processing Center, filed in June 2006 under EB-2. Would it cause any problems when I file my I-485 ( priority date March 2004 ) next year if the salary for 2006 is less than 85K ? I was unemployed for two months this year unexpectedly. Thank you for your responses.

This is my first post.
The green card backlog situation seems hopeless to me.
Is this organization working to get the
totalization agreement done so that at least we get some of the money that
we paid as taxes(but get no benefit in return).

Current EAD was supposed to expire in Feb so applied 100 days ahead for renewal. To my surprise application got approved in 10 days:D. Hope they've given for 2 years and starting from expiry date of current one....

I listened intently to President Obama's State of the Union speech yesterday. The man is clearly a gifted orator. He stressed the need for cooperation between Democrats and Republicans on the big issues facing our country: the economy, climate change and health care reform, but where oh where was immigration? A friend of mine (Indian) is married to an Indonesian. Both are on H1B and have approved I-140s. Can my friend apply for a cross chargeability? Does it have to happen when my friends spouse's pd becomes current? or can it be done earlier?

My 140 was filed for a future Team lead position. I am currently a Sr Sw Engg with the same employer. The job description is nearly the same. But I am not sure how this little quirk effects my AC21 eligibility. When does my 180 day start counting ? From filing date or from the date I get the Team lead title ?

Guys, applied recently for EAD and its pending and 180 days has not passed. I am planning to open a part time business. Does anyone know if its ok to start a part time business before the EAD gets approved ? Any insights will be appreciated.

If you draw salary as an employee of the business, it is a problem. Consult an immigration attorney. You cannot take up any work other than what is approved as part of your H1-B.

I have a approved I-140 with company A. It is a substitute labor.
I am getting laid off end of the month and I have a new offer from company B.
Can I port priority date of this I-140 to new company B? Does porting work for substitute labor also?

@Kirupa: Not live tiles, but selection tiles (thumbnails) -- square boxes with text and maybe an image . They are use in panoramic applications instead of a list box.
You should do a video tutorial on creating the different elements of a panoramic app, i.e., the listbox, selection tiles (thumbnails), and a listbox with text+image(on the left). I think the xbox hub is a great example.

Hi,
I'm in the process of going through the naturalization process having filed the N-400 form.
However, I have a change of plans and would like to 'abandon' my naturalization application.
Would this affect any of my future applications? be it a future naturalization application or petition for a relative the green card.
Thanks for any advice as I can't seem to get a definite answer.

I have come to this form for help of one thing: for a long time I know that when switching jobs using ac21 you need to make sure that the job code is same and job description is similar, i know from my approved 140&perm that mine is 15-1032 (computer engineer),
the job description of both company are 90% same.
But they know nothing about the job code and ask me what is this code and where this is used . Can somebody help me with this?
btw, my old job title is computer engineer, my new title is manager of computer system engineer. is that a problem ? if yes , if I asked them to demote that to computer system engineer leader, is it better?

I have I-140 approved from my old employer. My new employer is starting my PERM. We plan to port my old priority date. My question is at what stage of GC process from new emplyer can the old priority date be proted - PERM, I-140 or I485?
