You are absolutely right...
I think we need to emphasize the fact that typically guys who got stuck in BEC for many years are the same guys being effected again, as they just got out of BEC queue and filled concurently and now basically are stuck again, it is really ridiculous experience for this group of applicants, where as people who have applied in PERM or those who were able to get LC certified without getting into BEC have gone through the whole process relatively smoothly....
My 2 cents, based on my experience.

USCIS has not even posted January processing times till now. This should have been published by Dec 15th.

Received this e-mail from Tom Davis (Virginia congressman for where I live) today (Monday, July 9, 2007). Plan to reply by tomorrow mentioning it is not about "individual redress" rather a wrong imposed by USCIS/DOS on the legal-patiently waiting-community of immigrants. Any suggestions welcome.

I don't see what is really different. I am not talking about July 2007. I am talking about May or June bulletin 2007. Do you mean the bulletin on May or June 2007 is to utilize the visa so the dates are not the "real" date? Then how do you know Aug. 2008 move is not for the same purpose? Especially if this movement is caused by spillover.
There is chance that CIS and/or DOS know the breakdown of categories by country now as against last year. That is being a bit on the optimistic side.

There's nothing new there. Its silly actually. The later bulletin supersedes the previous bulletin and everyone knows that.
But they are just connecting the "flip" and the "flop" of their flip-flop of visa bulletin. They are saying that if you read "Flip", then "Flop" must be read too and if you read "Flop", then "Flip" must be read too, in order to make sense of the Flip-Flop.
Its like saying "I voted for current visa bulletin before I voted against it".

I checked 2007 return and it has only 100K asset. I am not sure we accumulated 350K since then. I think you got confused with revenue vs. cash on hand / asset.

I am with you Almond. After waiting for 12 long years in USA and 8 long years for a GC, the tunnel is still dark.
