Regarding coming back on F1 after being on H4... You should really consider talking to an attorney. With F1 visa you need to prove that you would come back to India at the time of stamping, but with your spouse being on H1 and in states.. how do you thing you can prove that you will come back to India when your spouse is in the states..

Yes, your current & past paystubs(Primary H1B holder) are needed to grant H4 Visa for spouse. H4 is a dependent visa and is granted based on the primary H1B visa holder's status. In case of transfer from H1B to H4, his paystubs are also needed to proove that he was in legal status during this time.

Those who were able to upgrade to premium processing before Jul 2, did you get a new receipt number for the upgrade? Or was the old receipt number valid?
old one remains valid. Your status on that will indicate that the application has been upgraded to PP, and then the same reciept number will tell you about the decision

I filed green card with my old emp. in 2002, i applied for i485 July/07 and in APR/08 i change my job to similar profession, now i work and live in MD, and my interview for status adj is sch in NJ, should i notify and change address to MD since i live , work and my current emp. in MD. I got a labor substitution by Company A and filed I-140 and 485 through Company A in 2007. After I got EAD and my I-140 was approved and past 6 months I moved to company B in mid of 2008 and company B filed for AC-21, my role at company B is over and I have an offer for a lucrative job with Company C but the role is slightly different from the one listed in my labor petition. Company C is good but sceptical in filing AC-21 with the previous set of responsibilities. I have my EAD valid till early 2011. In case I move to Company C and company B revokes my application what is the situation that I can face? Will my EAD still be valid or will I loose status immediately? Can I continue working on my EAD with company C without filing AC-21?
Please advice ... I have my career at stake and need your help on this issue

Guys, My labor was moved to Dallas Backlog center and got approved in 2006. When I searched its detail in files from flcdatacenter.com, I could not find any labor that matches my ETA number. I am not sure if there is any way to get the details. Though, online status site of Dallas backlog center shows the status but without any usable details. My labor's ETA number starts with D-xxxxx-xxxxx. Does any body has similar ETA number ?

I have applied for family based GC above 21 yrs old on December 2006 and also currently holding h1 valid from October 2008. I also have my opt till May. Now since my employer was not able to find me a project he wants me to chg my status. I do not know what to do and how to chg my visa as, if I go on student visa I need to show financial documents and since I have not made any money how is it possible . If you can also suggest some schools who will not charge much or some courses which are not very expensive and time consuming and also where I can get work authorization as I will find jobs which are not technical and in line with my educational and work qualification . I have a deadline this evening as my employer just called me and told me this

I used another 140 based on my regular Labor filed in 2004 and got my GC a

Today I got this email regarding the abandoned 140. What does this mean?

The Cooperative Congressional Election Study (CCES) surveyed more than 24,000 Americans who voted in 2006. The Internet-based survey compiled by researchers at 30 universities produced a sample that almost perfectly matched the national House election results: 54 percent of the respondents reported voting for a Democrat, while 46 percent said they voted for a Republican. The demographic characteristics of the voters surveyed also closely matched those in the 2006 national exit poll. If anything, the CCES respondents claimed they were more "independent" than those in the exit poll.
The CCES survey asked about 14 national issues: the war in Iraq (the invasion and the troops), abortion (and partial birth abortion), stem cell research, global warming, health insurance, immigration, the minimum wage, liberalism and conservatism, same-sex marriage, privatizing Social Security, affirmative action, and capital gains taxes. Not surprisingly, some of the largest differences between Democrats and Republicans were over the Iraq war. Fully 85 percent of those who voted for Democratic House candidates felt that it had been a mistake to invade Iraq, compared with only 18 percent of voters who cast ballots for Republicans.
When we combined voters' answers to the 14 issue questions to form a liberal-conservative scale (answers were divided into five equivalent categories based on overall liberalism vs. conservatism), 86 percent of Democratic voters were on the liberal side of the scale while 80 percent of Republican voters were on the conservative side. Only 10 percent of all voters were in the center. The visual representation of the nation's voters isn't a nicely shaped bell, with most voters in the moderate middle. It's a sharp V.
The evidence from this survey isn't surprising; nor are the findings new. For the past three decades, the major parties and the electorate have grown more divided -- in what they think, where they live and how they vote. It may be comforting to believe our problems could be solved if only those vile politicians in Washington would learn to get along. The source of the country's division, however, is nestled much closer to home.

I was working on H1B till one month back, recetly I joined permanent position on EAD. I need to renew my wifes EAD. Though I dod not need it but for driving license they want some immigration document, so I am planning to e-file for my wife's EAD. I have couple of questions
1. There is question for Current Immigration status. I belive since I mobved to EAD my wif's status is AOS pending. But from the option I do not see any option near to that. What should be right choice. It is not a manadatory field can I leave it blank.
2. There is question for Provide information regarding eligibility status. What should i put there , I am thginking to keep AOS Pending.
3. Somebody told me that I can not e-file for my wife.
